The boat's master enters it, then the port officer checks and countersigns it at the quay.
Could a slow freeze be covered up?
No. The gap comes from two clock times entered by different people, so neither can shorten it alone.
Are crew names shown?
No. The record carries the vessel and its home port, never the crew list.
